Emily: I would just like to clarify, on my mom's behalf, that she did not scream about the tarantula. She was actually quite calm but DID make an "oh this is too gross I can't do it" face.

Bueno...I thought my 6th grade students would enjoy seeing the picture of Chad holding the tarantula...so it was up on the overhead screen and I was pointing out how it covered both of his hands...when suddenly the screen swooshed up...and i screamed...and i scared myself and my class to death! We started laughing and they kept checking to make sure I was okay...i didn't tell them that Charlie (Chad's brother) always says that watching scary movies doesn't scare him...but he always gets scared when he watches them with me! eso es la vida!
